This unit is designed to last between 13 and 15 class days. Go at your own pace, if some things take a day longer, no problem! You can just add a little time on at the end. Take it one step further by doing an outreach in your community!

Mar de plástico is unit 9 of the Huellas 2 curriculum from Somewhere to Share. It also works well as a stand-alone unit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My students (and I) love this resource, this is a hands-on, food for thought unit. I love Carrie’s products in the way that the contents are so relevant for my students that make it a magnet to study!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This plan was very accessible and appropriately sequenced for a multi-week period of online learning. The digital learning booster was EXTREMELY helpful for creating engaging discussion starters and anticipatory sets for by students. The resources appear carefully selected and well-thought out. This unit makes my students and I feel like we are back in the classroom learning it together. This resource is fantastic for Spanish 4 and really SAVED ME during an uncertain time of distance learning.
