Welcome to Huellas Your Way 1 set 3 for units 1.11-1.15, a grammar and vocabulary expansion pack designed to prepare students for the language they will encounter in the original Huellas units. These materials are not separate units and are not intended to replace the Huellas curriculum. Instead, they provide additional support before students begin each unit so they can enter the readings, discussions, and activities with greater confidence.

Each section focuses on the key vocabulary and grammar structures connected to one Huellas unit. Students encounter the language through a variety of activities, including vocabulary practice, context clues, grammar discovery, movement, collaboration, games, short readings, and written reflection. Most sections are organized into three suggested days, but the activities are flexible. Teach the entire sequence, select only the activities your students need, or spread them throughout the original unit as review and reinforcement.

The teacher guide provides directions and links for each activity, while the printable section includes the corresponding student materials and answer keys. Many activities may be completed independently, with partners, in small groups, or as a whole class, allowing you to adapt the packet to your schedule and students’ needs.

Included in your Google Drive folder you will also find flexible homework options that can be assigned with any Huellas 1 unit. Use them for additional practice, absent students, sub plans, make-up work, or continued reinforcement outside of class.
