Content Use Policy

Somewhere to Share exists to support teachers with engaging, proficiency-driven resources for language learning. When you purchase our materials, you are receiving a license to use them in your teaching — not ownership of the intellectual property.

When you purchase a resource, you may:

  • Use the materials in your own classroom (in-person or virtual)
  • Share materials with your students through a secure, closed platform (Google Classroom, LMS, etc.)
  • Print or project materials for student use
  • Adapt activities for your own classroom instruction

Without written permission, you may NOT:

  • Share files with other teachers or departments
  • Post materials publicly online or on shared drives
  • Resell, redistribute, or upload resources to third-party platforms
  • Modify materials and share them as your own
  • Use content in a competing product or curriculum

Somewhere to Share ideas, strategies, and frameworks may inspire your own teaching and presenting. We ask that you:

  • Do not present Somewhere to Share activities, slides, or frameworks as original work
  • Give credit when presenting ideas created by Somewhere to Share
  • Avoid sharing or distributing Somewhere to Share presentation materials without permission
  • Request permission before adapting materials for paid workshops, courses, or commercial PD

We value collaboration and are happy to discuss partnerships or co-presenting opportunities.

If multiple teachers need access, additional licenses must be purchased. District or transferable licenses may be available upon request.

All Somewhere to Share materials remain copyrighted. Purchasing a resource grants a limited license for classroom use only.

If you’d like to use materials beyond these guidelines, please contact us — we love collaborating and are happy to discuss permissions.
