Getting back to school is so hard. I just finished my first full week (7 days total of classes down) and I am TIRED. The hardest part for me is the first 3-4 days when we are doing card talk or 2 truths and a lie to build community and dive back into hearing Spanish in class. Once we jump that hurdle, I feel so much better because I am at a point where I really love the units I am using. Find my Scope and Sequence documents here.

Some ways we can help:
- I’m a teacher, I know that sometimes you have to be gone on the WORST POSSIBLE DAY. We have three different ways to offer you sub plans.
- If you’re gone during a Huellas unit (or if you end up distance learning for weather), check out the included remote plans to see how you might adapt the day’s activities with you not there.
- If you are missing just a day, try a Cultural Corner reading unit with follow up(s). We have them at several proficiency levels.
- If you are missing for a longer stretch, use our Huellas Freeform units for a 3 day sub plan you can pass on to your sub with minimal prep.
- My students and I all love music. We have many song of the week packs and if you just can’t decide, try the Every Song Growing Bundle.
- Sometimes, I have a week that is either short, leading into a break, has a lot of disruptions, kids will be gone, or I just need something fun… I depend on a lot of Clip Chats for these.
- For my core units in Spanish 2, 3, and 4, I depend on Martina Bex’s Somos 2 and on Huellas 1 and 2. They will all be on sale both on SomewheretoShare.com (Huellas), ComprehensibleClassroom.com (Huellas and Somos), and on TPT.
