In this chapter we met Bianca’s future step-mom.  Novices can do a great job making predictions about her based on prior knowledge!  We used va a to list some things we would expect her to do because all wicked step-mothers do them in stories!

Now that we had met all the major players we did a teacher’s guide activity!  Each student made a paper fan that served as their prompt in a little presentational speaking!
