If you have never used poetry in class, this is a great place to start. I like using it in level 3 or 4 because the discussion is deeper but I have let level 2’s listen in the past and they have enjoyed it. I like this particular video but there are a lot of others available on YouTube. The first time I downloaded this I could swear that it said that the video was made with the voice of Neruda himself that the video creator had on an old audio book album. I lost all of my videos when I changed computers and I found the voice but in this video I don’t see anywhere that still says it is the real Pablo! 🙂 So maybe it never was… or maybe it really is. I think its a soothing voice either way!
